Trenton Mercer Airport Melinda Montgomery Airport Manager
"Our Airport - Your Airport"
When was the last time you considered the Trenton Mercer Airport?
I recently visited the Mercer County NJ owned airport and had the pleasure of a tour from Airport Manager Melinda Montgomery A.A.E. (Accredited Airport Executive) A VERY BIG DEAL! Melinda J. Montgomery is 1 of 429 in the United States of America who have this accreditation and she is the Executive at Trenton Mercer Airport!
Melinda shared that the Aviation Industry has a need for workers of all disciplines, which led to a chat about the partnership with the Mercer County Community College Aviation Flight Technology Program.
We touched on the relationship with Frontier Airlines and how they feel about being at Trenton/Mercer.
We then discussed the history and planned expansion.
After an extensive tour I gained a new perspective and appreciation for the community of individuals working together to make this operation a continuous success.

Photographer Habiyb Shu'Aib
I met Habiyb Shu'Aib a few years ago. Like so many people in the "Art Scene" in Trenton NJ we all know of each other.
Utilizing social media I shared an opportunity for a local Photographer to join me in the WIMG1300 Studios to capture some images of the live radio and taped TV interviews of the Trenton 365 Show.
Habiyb reached out and joined me on multiple occasions visually capturing exclusive interviews with Model/Actress/Entrepreneur Nacone Martin the Center For Interim Programs and others.
Our friendship has grown and the magic has happened; we know mutual people, we have mutual interests, we admire each others efforts, we seek each others assistance, we introduce each other to other people....we build community through civic engagement.
A few of those connections include local "watering hole" Champs, other Photographers Kevin Duddy, Chris Marinari and the Trenton Photography Club.
Recently we connected around a project he is working on for AAN-Art All Night the 24 hour art exhibit in Trenton NJ put on by Trenton NJ's Visual Arts Organization Artworks.
I suggest you reach out to Habiyb, ask him about his efforts, and check out his website www.bloved1.com
In addition you can see his first solo show happening at Mercer County Community College - JKC Gallery on the Trenton Campus beginning June 19, 2017.
Have a listen to a recent chat and see some images I captured during that visit.
