2022 Toyota RAV4 Adventure
Recently I took the 2022 Toyota RAV4 Adventure on an extended test/review ride.
Gone are the days of the tiny RAV4. This vehicle sits tall, proud and strong. My vehicle had the Lunar Rock colorway of which I enjoy. The Adventure comes with blacked out 19" rims which received a few compliments. I think the contrast catches the eyes.
The interior also features contrasting colors and this also works well for me. I do have concerns about light interior trims/colors when promoting vehicles for outdoor use.
The entire floor is mat covered which is nice for spills, dirt etc. The vehicle sits tall but not high. Switching between the multiple driving modes was very noticeable. All with fine functionality. Performance is more than enough for everyday use. Cruising at highway speeds with rolling passes is not an issue. The motor seemed a little loud with hard acceleration but that could be my age.
Plenty of space for daily use and hauling gear. On this trip it was totes and the vehicle handled them fine. Split folding rear seats also help with cargo space.
The steering cluster, 10.5" touch screen, drivers side power seat all felt easy to use and move through features.
The 2022 Toyota RAV4 Adventure really grew on me. Bold but subtle appearance, easy to use tech, fine performance, good cargo space.
Good for the change of seasons in the eastern USA.
